The simple rules that help SundaySync work well for every church and ministry team that uses it.

Welcome to SundaySync

SundaySync helps churches and ministry teams organize schedules, communication, volunteers, and services in one place. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. We’ve tried to keep them as straightforward as possible.

These Terms apply to everyone who uses SundaySync — pastors, leaders, volunteers, staff, and admins — whether on the web or through a future SundaySync mobile app.

Accounts & responsibility

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please reset your password right away and contact support@sundaysync.co.

Churches and ministries operate their own SundaySync workspaces. Workspace admins control who can join, what each member can do, and what data is visible to whom. By inviting someone into your workspace, you confirm they have a reasonable need to access the schedules, files, and conversations stored there.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use SundaySync. If you’re managing youth check-ins or rosters that include minors, you’re responsible for collecting any consents required by local law.

Acceptable use

SundaySync is built for healthy, respectful collaboration. To keep it that way, please don’t use the platform to:

  • Upload illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or abusive material.
  • Share copyrighted music, video, or charts without permission from the rights holder.
  • Send spam, phishing attempts, malware, or unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • Abuse the notification system (e.g. mass-pinging volunteers without a legitimate purpose).
  • Impersonate another person, church, or organization.
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract data from the platform.
  • Attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or availability of SundaySync.

Our full Acceptable Use Policy goes into more detail. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension.

Billing & subscriptions

SundaySync offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan billed at $50 per month. Pro includes unlimited members and every Pro feature — there are no per-user fees or feature add-ons.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, through our payments partner Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time from the Billing page in your workspace. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We don’t typically issue prorated refunds for partial months. If something has gone wrong, email us and we’ll make it right.
  • We’ll give reasonable advance notice of any price change. You can always cancel before the new price applies.
  • Failed payments may temporarily downgrade your workspace to the free tier until billing is restored.

Service availability

We work hard to keep SundaySync reliable, but no online service is up 100% of the time. Brief downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or third-party issues (cloud hosting, email delivery, push notification providers, etc.) can happen. We’ll do our best to minimize disruption and communicate when something material is going on.

Your content

Everything you upload — songs, lyrics, files, messages, schedules, photos — remains yours. You’re granting SundaySync the limited permission needed to host, display, and process that content so the platform can do its job (showing your setlist on Sunday, sending a call-time reminder, displaying a message in chat, etc.).

You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to upload what you upload. Don’t put copyrighted material in your workspace without permission.

Termination

You can leave at any time. To delete your account, go to Settings → Danger Zone or visit our Delete Account page.

SundaySync may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or put other users at risk. When practical, we’ll reach out first.

Liability

SundaySync is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet every specific need your church has.

To the extent permitted by law, SundaySync, its team, and its providers won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim relating to SundaySync is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll post the new version on this page with an updated date, and where appropriate notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use SundaySync after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can’t be resolved through friendly conversation will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, United States.
